Get packing. What you need to know.

Light coloured clothing - Avoid bright colours, especially red and white as these attract animals to you (yikes!)
Wide brim hat - The scorching sun takes no mercy so make sure to get a wide hat to protect your face and neck
Suncream - A more obvious one but we always end up forgetting the basics in the mad rush to get away
Light waterproofs - The weather isn’t always as predictable as we expect so to rather be safer than sorry, pack a few light layers which you take off as and when you need
Sunglasses - Shielding your eyes from the African sun will not only give you a better view of the wildlife but also protect your eyes
Durable shoes - Unless you’re hiking, all you’ll need is a good, comfortable pair of trainers that will be able to keep you on your feet for longer
Repellent - Just to be on the safe side, insect repellent can be packed. You don’t want any pesky bugs interrupting your adventure!
Battery packs - no doubt you’ll be snapping non-stop so make sure to keep a spare battery or bring a battery pack so you can snap all day
